Our Services
MicroStar Andy provides specialist diagnostics, repair, upgrade, and support services for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iMac Pro, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro devices, covering both Apple Silicon and Intel-based models, including screen and battery replacement, data recovery and backup, macOS installation, SSD and memory upgrades, and general maintenance.
Diagnostics and Quotes
Every repair begins with a diagnostic assessment. We will explain the identified fault in plain language and provide a clear quote before any repair work begins. No chargeable work will proceed without your approval .
Turnaround Time
Many repairs are completed within 24–48 hours; more complex faults may take longer, and we will inform you upfront of any expected delays.
Warranty
Applicable parts and workmanship are covered by a warranty. Specific warranty terms will be provided with your repair quote and vary depending on the type of repair or part used.
Customer Responsibilities
You confirm that you are the lawful owner of the device or are authorized to have it repaired
You are responsible for backing up your data before submitting a device for repair, although we take reasonable care to protect your files
You must provide accurate contact information so we can update you on your repair status
Data and Device Handling
We handle all customer devices and data with care. While we take precautions during diagnostics, repairs, and data recovery, MicroStar Andy is not liable for pre-existing data loss or damage that occurs due to pre-existing device faults beyond our control.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair unless otherwise agreed in writing. Devices left uncollected for an extended period after repair completion may be subject to storage terms communicated at the time of drop-off.
Limitation of Liability
MicroStar Andy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Ugandan law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
